a small paper puppet designed on a copper etched plate painted with water colour paints. jointed together with mini brads, I was asked by a teacher during a critique why I chose to make it on a copper plate. The answer I wish I had been able to verbalize is the joy of printing and of acid etching, for doing such a corrosive art technique to the plate adds a texture. The feel of time and effort put into a plate as one inks and wipes, such love and care. I adore how this turned out and did a wash of pink paint over a brown ink print .
