Rowyn Sculpty clay on top of a wire and aluminium frame. Form is inspire by the Dancing Lady Orchid an orchid that looks like a bald lady in a dress. Colours are not based on a specific specimen, just imagined as nice and semi translucent. Painted with acrylic inks. Intended as an anatomy class final project, a class at Emily Carr that was really enjoyable to me, with a good sense of challenge. Since photos has lost one of its feet as I did not create a strong enough frame and the clay one cooked is delicate.
